Site Council
The Hiawatha/Howe site council meets regularly throughout the school year. We have one Site Council representing student needs for Hiawatha Campus- Pre-K-2 and Howe Campus- 3-5.
The Site Council serves as a communication link between the school community by:
- Gathering Information
- Sharing Information
- Identifying Concerns
- Helping to Solve Problems
- Supporting and Promoting Programs, Activities, and other learning opportunities for students
- Monitoring School Goals and Activities supported by SIP
The Site Council serves as a resource to help identify and promote changes needed to keep moving the school ahead to meet the ever-changing needs in education. This group serves as a resource to the principal and other groups in the school community.
Site Council minutes will be posted on the website under Hiawatha/Howe Site Council
