Homework in 107

To reinforce reading skills, students are expected to read for 10 to 20 minutes each day and record what they've read on a reading log which is turned in with the other homework.

To reinforce math skills, students are expected to practice oral math by counting outloud. The counting is extremely important to students'  number sense: understanding the relationship between numbers.

Be sure your student is both reading and counting outloud every day!!

Students turn in their reading log as well as a math sheet which reinforces math skills being worked on, and their Word Work. The Word Work is a spelling/phonics exercise which the students work on sorting all week and then they take it home and glue the sorts onto the Word Work paper.

If your child needs pencils or glue sticks to complete their homework, they are welcome to bring one home from school.
